COURTNEY & JON

I'm a little behind on my blogging but I'm so excited to get back to it and bring you this special post!  I had the privilege of being at Courtney and Jon's elopement the other week.  What a special pair these two are.  Courtney was one of our NICU nurses when my son was born and since then we have stayed FB friends.  She is joining the Army wives club and they are off to their first adventure!  Thank you again for allowing me to capture your special day!

**eric & amber** {i do}

i love this couple. i really really mean it. they are so special to me and i've been blessed to watch their love grow over the years. back when i was a high school Bible study leader, amber was one of my gals. her and eric were dating then and their love has only deepened in the years since. they are a phenomenal couple with so many great values and are made up of the kind of love that lasts forever. i was so honored to be part of their special day. i got all teary eyed watching her walk down the aisle to the man that she's been dreaming about marrying for years. i'm so proud of all they stand for and wish nothing but many blessings for their future. love you guys! congrats!

**kymmie & greg** {wedding}

wow. i mean, WOW! this was such a beautiful wedding. k & g got hitched at the beautiful suncadia resort in cle elum. not only are they extremely beautiful, but every single detail they had, the venue, the day... all BEAUTIFUL! i can't even begin to describe all the wonderful little treats that welcomed guests as they arrived. fun fun! i am so incredibly honored to have been part of it. makes me want to get hitched to andy all over again! :)

kymmie looked stunning. greg was totally dapper. the food was wonderful. everyone had a good time. i love doing what i do! thanks guys for allowing staci and i to be part of your very special day!

**daniel & vee** {wedding}

this last weekend i had the complete honor of photographing my cousin dan's wedding. what a wonderful day! one of my college besties came over the mountains to shoot with me and we welcomed vee into the family with style! daniel and vee have been together for a while now so making it official was quite a celebration!

vee is beautiful, stylish, and full of sass... which is why we love her. her shoes, dress, makeup- everything was perfect. and the flowers (by amy eller @ bloom wedding and events) were to die for! daniel even made the alter they stood under to get hitched! what a man ;)!

of course, there was this adorable little man in attendance so I had to grab one of him ;)!!!!!

the ceremony was downtown puyallup at pioneer park and pavilion.

**mitch & kelly** {wedding}

i love mitch and kelly. they are like peanut butter and jelly or ice cream and chocolate syrup. they go perfect together. they are both wonderful people and i always enjoy myself when i spend time with them. they are past clients of mine and it was such an honor to capture their big day. if you were wondering if they make cute babies, YES they do! little ryann, whom i've shot before, is their little one and just about the cutest thing west of the mississippi.

mitch & kelly chose rock creek gardens for their venue and the ram catering for the food. it was a perfect day, evening, and ceremony. they exchanged vows and did a wooden box tradition as part of the wedding. never heard of it before? me neither! but as they were describing it to me, i started to tear up! prior to the ceremony they each wrote a love letter to the other explaining why they loved them and why they were getting married. they sealed the letters in envelopes. during the ceremony they placed the letters in the wooden box along with wine and wine glasses and nailed the box closed. then what?! well here's the best part... they have vowed to keep that box closed till their 25th wedding anniversary or... if their marriage should ever reach a point where things get really tough and they need some hope, they will open the box and read the letters. in hopes that it will remind one another of why they got married in the first place. LOVE IT! just love it!

congrats mitch & kelly! you guys make a beautiful couple and here's to opening that box 25 years from now! blessings!
